AudioVox Homebase Message Center and Digital Photo Frame

AudioVox, a manufacturer of consumer electronic products ranging from security items, entertainment gadgets, to wireless communication device, has announced its product called Homebase Message Center and Digital Photo Frame during the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

This device is a digital frame which features 7-inch LCD screen display which allows users to record information. This appliance features user-friendly interface with menu options which can be easily operated by anyone.

Ideal for kitchen use, this electronic device is designed to be mounted on refrigerators. This ingenuous gadget is a high-tech replacement for the white board which has been the traditional kitchen “organizer” where people jot down information which will remind them of some important task they have to do (e.g. food menu, the place where they have gone, time of their arrival, reminder, contact numbers of restaurants, etc.).

The menu options offer various features which can help people, especially working moms, to effectively organize their obligations. It features calendar, timer, setting, and photo archives. Users can also record important messages and reminders which can then be played back.

This is how to record a message using this digital frame: go to the menu and click “Memo”, then leave a message and save it. A green light will appear in front of the unit which gives a signal that someone leaves a message which must be read.

Another impressive feature is the photo option. This features USB port which allows people to upload pictures and create a slideshow for the images. Users can arrange their pictures and customize it according to their preference. The front design of the unit is covered with lacquered acrylic paint which makes the device easy to clean. The appliance also features 512MB built-in memory and CF slots.

For those who prefer the traditional way of leaving a message, the unit provides a wide space in the left side and below where people can jot down their message using a marker. The message can be easily erased without leaving an unsightly mark
