Get the F#?$%* UP! There's a Bomb in Here!

After those late night WOW sessions it can be a bit difficult to rouse yourself for the daily office commute. Sometimes a little extra incentive is needed... like impending death. Pick up one of these unique Danger Bomb Alarm Clocks and wake up MacGyver style. A minute before your morning alarm is supposed to go off the Danger Bomb Clock starts beeping... it's trying to tell you that it is about to explode. Defuse it by unplugging the right color wire as indicated by the glowing LEDs on the front.

Still groggy, can't seem to reach that wire? The clock starts a countdown (in Japanese) letting you know the bomb will explode in 10 seconds. If you are unable to defuse the clock, or you disconnect the wrong wire it makes a loud exploding noise over and over and won't shut up no matter what you do. Hey... you're just lucky this clock isn't a real bomb or you'd be going to work in a hearse. Next time get up earlier!

Directions for Using your Danger Bomb Clock

This clock is imported from Japan where they throw away more cool stuff in one day than you will ever own in a year. Problem is the instructions are all in Japanese. So we're going to help you with some quick instructions English style.

Setting the Time
Hold down the "m" button for 5 seconds until the hours on the display start to flash
Press the "s" button repeatedly to advance the hours
Press the "m" button again to go to the minutes. They will begin to flash.
Press the "s" button repeatedly to advance the minutes
Press the "m" button once more to finish setting the time
Keep in mind that the clock does only military (24 hour) time

Setting the Alarm
Press the "m" button once quickly until the hours on the display start to flash
Press the "s" button repeatedly to advance the hours
Press the "m" button again to go to the minutes. They will begin to flash.
Press the "s" button repeatedly to advance the minutes
Press the "m" button once more to finish setting the alarm

Arming the Alarm
Push the "alarm bell" button for 5 seconds. The alarm icon will appear in the upper right corner of the LCD display

Turning on the LCD Light
Any button press activates the built in red LED illumination. However you can also push the "light" button on the far right to turn on the light for 5 seconds.

Using the Alarm
All of the jumper wires on the front of the clock should be plugged together
One minute before the alarm is set to go off the clock will start beeping
On the left side of the clock are three colored LEDs (red, blue and yellow). One of these LEDs will light up.
Unplug the wire which matches the color of the LED which is lit to defuse the bomb and shut off the alarm.
If you do not unplug the wire within 60 seconds the clock will speak in Japanese and begin counting down from 10.
If you unplug the correct wire at this point, the alarm will shut off and the clock will stop counting.
If the clock reaches zero it will make a loud exploding noise over and over again. This will certainly wake you up.
If at any time you unplug the wrong colored wire the clock will also explode (but not really, it's just a sound... so don't worry)
