iRobot Looj

iRobot LoojiRobot, a manufacturer of robots and “intelligent” machines, has launched its new product which is designed to clean gutters and other hard to reach areas.

The iRobot Looj is a high-tech cleaning machine that works with various kinds of gutters including aluminum, K-style, metal, copper, and vinyl. This robot can clean 60 feet section of gutter area in 10 minutes.

With this innovation, people are no longer required to do the dangerous job of climbing on a ladder while balancing tools for cleaning. This robot will maintain a clean gutter, which in turn result to a cleaner and safer environment since gutters are known to be the breeding grounds of mosquito-carrying diseases, carpenter ants, and other kinds of pests.

The iRobot Looj is available in three models, 120, 130, and 150. The 120 model features a remote control, complete direction control, B-directional auger rotation, waterproof construction, easy clean-up, battery charger, belt clip. 3-stage gutter cleaning auger, and high-powered battery pack. This comes at a price of $99.

Meanwhile, the 130 model features battery charger, complete direction control, waterproof construction, easy clean-up, high-powered battery pack, B-directional auger rotation, 3-stage gutter cleaning auger, and remote control. This comes at a price of $129.99.

And lastly, the 150 model features two high-powered battery pack, two 3-stage gutter clean auger, B-directional auger rotation, easy clean-up, battery charger, belt clip, remote control, waterproof construction, and complete direction control. This comes at a price of $169.99.

Here is how to operate Looj: place the ladder in one secure position then attach the Loof on the belt clip/Looj holster (this is attached on a person’s belt). Climb the wall and remove the handle or remote. Place the cleaning machine in the gutter with the use of detachable handle/remote. Using the remote control, move the Looj machine back and forth and the debris will fall off from the gutter. After cleaning the groove, move the robot back to the ladder and reattach the handle/remote. Remove the Looj from the trench and secure it using the belt clip
